Sokehampton lived up to it’s name (again) and sadly the outdoor bowling had to be cancelled (again). However, we all enjoyed some indoor bowling, albeit with tennis balls. With two quizzes, Pimms, chocolates and a superb tea, a very enjoyable afternoon was spent by all.

Ladies Day 2023
This years Ladies Day was a little different, the ladies invited the Lions to come and join them for a fun social day however it rained and it rained so we stayed inside and had a lovely social afternoon of fun. We all enjoyed a glass or two of Pimm’s and posh chocolates and after a bit of brain work thanks to Barry’s quiz we enjoyed a cream tea. Thank you to everyone who helped to make this an enjoyable afternoon from Sue & Sue who baked to Angie who helped in the kitchen, Bob for running the bar.
Ladies Day 2022
A lovely day was had by 36 players at this years ladies day, followed by a afternoon tea. The afternoon started with a go at spider resulting in a win for Mick Hatch. It was a closely fought competition and was narrowly won by Brian Vernon’s team. Everyone seemed to enjoy it and there were lots of smiles.
